Default Hypertech.....

I'm not sure on what settings I should use.I know i want to run it on 87 octane but I dont know what the rev limiter and other things are and the book doesnt shed alot of light on the subject. Can someone give me the settings they used? I have stock tires and dont really care about upping the speed limit.

Justselect "No" when it asks you about the tire size, rev limiter, etc. Select the octane setting you want to run, then let it go through the programming until it finishes. I've kept all the other options at the stock setting except for the octane.

the rev limiters is a limiter so you don't "over rev" your engine if you miss a gear or your trans slips. Basically it cuts the fuel...i wouldn't mess with it becuase there really is no reason you should be hitting the rev limiter anyways. i think it's at like 5600 rpms and the 318's stop making power around 5000 or so.
