Default MSD Ignition

I have a new MSD Ignition 6A and a Master Blaster coil for my 99 Dodge Ram 318. I haven't installed it yet but was afraid too because of having to go through rotor caps and maybe damaging the computer. I have bought Autolite 3923's and changed the rotor cap with a brass one and also better wires. Does anyone think it would be worth putting this igniton upgrade in?

I just replaced my rotor, cap, plugs, and rather than going with the blaster coil I went with the ACCEL coil from SUMMIT and it works great! I am actually getting better gas mileage, quicker starts, and a smoother idle. plus it was a simple bolt on deal.
my advise: save the money and go with the ACCEL coil

I took off my accel coil and installed the MSD 6A, Blaster2 coil, and 3923's. Like he MSD setup and want to sell the Accel coil and wiring adapter.

I keep the coil and adaptor under the back seat jic. 6A w/ the coil is well worth it IMO. It will go through plugs and points though.

Especially caps and rotors.

I do not believe the MSD ignition would improve either peak horsepower of daily driving MPG in a careful test.

It is possible the MSD would make the cold idle slightly smoother.
