Default Trucks suspension rattles to all hell!?!

I noticed it getting worse and worse, but especially on the way to school, the road is a bit rough. My trucks suspension rattles bad. When i come across a drain pipe or somthin, it sounds like alot of looseness. I was wondering if theres some certain things i should check. I know my shocks are stock, and probably shot, so i'm gonna change them soon, but i dont think they would cause so much rattling. Anyone have any ideas? Its getting annoying with the windows down!

Thanks!

loose shocks will rattle. the lower bolt on one of my rears was all wallered out and rattled. after replacing all the shocks i didn't tighted the front lowers to the 100 lb torque and they rattled also, right under drivers and pass feet. best thing to do is crawl under it and push, pull, slap everything to see what moves. bad cats can also rattle.

I don't know for sure if its suspension, but the sounds of it makes me pretty sure. I think i'm going to try to change the shocks and see if that fixes it up.
