I have a 2001 ram slt 5.2L 4x4 and the fuel mileage is the pits, wondering what could be causing this, the check engine light started to come on today and hasn't gone of, could this be an oxygen sensor

Well bad milage can be caused by any number of things. 1st thing to do is get the code read. You can go to autozone and they will tell you what the code is for free. Tell us the code and we can help you from there.
