I am extremely happy that I just got my hands on a 1997 4x4 318, auto tranny ext. cab red truck with only 46,xxx miles in good condition. It needs a good cleaning and detailing, but wow what a find! I got rid of my old daily driver beater truck and got A/C, CD player, and a 4x4, which I had been wanting for a while. I had a 97 dakota when they first came out, but haven't had a mopar in quite some time. I am upgrading from an old 93 ford pickup with no options whatsoever.

I just wanted to say hello and I will be lurking and posting here to try and educate myself. I will post pics after I put some elbow grease into her...

Sounds nice. My 01 has 90,500 or so miles on it now which is quite a lot. Sounds like you found a nice truck.
