Has anyone gotten a hood scoop put on their trucks? The factory ones on the new trucks look pretty good. I was noticing recently how the grooves on my hood look kinda like a stinger and have been thinking about getting a mid yearSting Ray style scoop, then painting a stinger, maybe insome camel color paint, which would look good with the red body. I found a site that sells scoops that fit Dodges, but wonder would sticking a scoop on my hood just look like crap? The whole truck needs professional repainting anyway. I could get the shop to paint the scoop and stinger. What do ya'll think?

 

The scoops that are put on with sticky stuff look like crap. I work at a dealership and we had a 5th gen in the other days with scoops on it and everyone there thought it looked stupid. But just my opinion.

Aren't the newest model trucks still considered 3rd gen? The changes made on '07 were pretty insignificant (not like the type of changes betweem 2nd gen and 3rd gen for example).
