so i was sitting somewhere looking at the back of my truck one day and thought the big DODGE and 4X4 stickers were tacky looking. parked the truck out in the sun and let them get real hot and just scraped up the corner a little with my fingernail and they just peeled right off. the paint underneath is very clean and unscratched. also a little wax line around where they were. i rubbed the area with wax and it cleaned up if you look really close you can where they were not because of paint fade but just because its the only place with no scratches.
note the big horizontal rub where prev owner let the bumper get jacked up, and the tailgate cables sagged, and rubbed a big spot. i'll fix it one of these days when i got nothing better to do (maybe in 20 years). i also need to take those rusty-*** hitch ***** off too, before somebody jerks on one of them.

Not bad, looks pretty good. I personally like the dodge 4x4 stickers on mine, but whatever...to each his own...

 

What package came with them? All my buddies trucks and mine didn't come with them.

 

it must be a 2nd gen thing, 94-01. mine is just a plain old truck, no package at all.

 

Mines the laramie slt package, not sure what that means though.

 

a previous owner must have taken them off...i've got a 2000 dodge ram 1500 slt laramie i have hte stickers (which i like them) and i have that black peice of plastic that goes under that, which was an option

 

It looks cleaner without the stickers. My Dodge sticker is weathered and old looking. It'll go away when the truck is repainted, if not before. I want an emblem in the center, like the 3rd gen.

 

I also prefer without. I do not have any badges on mine...

I have debadged the doors on my truck but left the stuff on the tailgate alone (Chrome 4x4 and Heavy Duty)
