ok,so far i have replaced wires, plugs ,rotor cap, rotor button,coil and egr and still running bad with a spuddering sound at all speeds,i put gas treatment and fuel inject cleaner in case of bad gas but no luck,truck starts right up idles good but now has a strong exhaust smell like running rich,check engine light came on again with egr code only after i put new egr on a week ago but went out after truck cooled off and sit for a few hours so what other problem will throw egr code then clear code after truck sits for a while??no cat so thats ruled out,getting gas and runs ok as long as you have your foot to the floor! stumped,please help befor i fix it with a sledge hammer...

 

o2 sensor or maybe a dirty injector? its my standard answer but seriuosly I would look into that.your egr problem I do not have an answer for
