well i noticed since i had the ram if you get on it from stand still..after it shifts at 4 grand if u let go of the gas pedal you will hear a bang..sounds like its comin from the trans..and also when i go to switch from park to reverse or park to drive you will hear a clunk and it will jump a little...any idea on what could be causing this?

sounds like you might have a bad u joint.........crawl under your truck and grab your driveshaft twist it and try moving it up and down you will be able to tell if one is bad.........or lay on the ground and have someone put it in reverse then drive and watch the drive shaft either way you will be able to tell......

oh yea i forgot to mention..if you drive it nice the tranny wont make any bangs..except for when you put it in drive or reverse..and i dont know if it matters or not but the truck is lifted 6 inches and has 35 x 12.5 tires on it,.
