Default 2001 Y- Pipe question / issue

Have a 2001, Dodge ram 1500 4x4- 5.2 and I am looking to "open up" the engine a bit more by adding headers, and free flow cat back to my flowmasters.............I have been searching for Y-pipes but every damn one is for "off road use only"..Seems the stock Y- Pips is really restrictive and do not want to do headers if it will just bog down with the stockie Y....My goal is to gain some tourge and HP as I am towing a BUNCH. Any suggestions? Any brands of Y-Pipes that are legal and good?...DO not want any issues with emissions ...I see the 3rd Gen had them avail, but not the 2nd gen?........any help would be appreciatted.

I was whining about having a California emissions truck with 3 cats and 4 O2 sensors. Someone suggested I could run dual exhaust with dual cats. Now I am thinking headers into dual cat exhaust. [sm=drooldude.gif]
It took awhile[sm=sleeping.gif] but I am awake now. [sm=yikesomg.gif]

The direct fit magnaflow cat I have came with the collectors already on it. I can't say if it would work with headers though.
