32 oz. Why are you having to change the compressor? If the old one crapped out, did you flush the entire system? Replace the Orifice tube/liquid line? If you don't do these things, the replacement compressor is doomed. Just a word of warning, don't mean to scare you.

It is not completely dead mostly the clutch is bad but figured sinse the system is 10 years old I would replace the whole thing new orifce and dryer orings and hopefully will go another 10. Found a place had the whole deal for less than 300 for everything.

Actually, it's not Freon. It's R134.

Don't forget to add the proper amounts of oil to the components you replace. PAG 100. Drain the new compressor before you install it and add fresh oil. Drain the old compressor and measure the amount of oil in it. Ditto for the accumulator. You'll need to drill a couple of holes in the bottom and let it drain. Replace that same amount of oil back into the system. HAND TURN the compressor shaft about a dozen or so times after installation with the new oil in to push the oil into the system. Pull a deep vacuum for about 1-2 hours then charge into the vacuum.
Good Luck
