Hey folks,
After the mud run competition I just competed in my tranny's been shifting wierd.When you first take off it seems to try to shift back and forth between 1st and second but if you step on it some it shifts fine.I noticed the tv cable was broke so I got a new one and installed and adjusted it according to the haynes manuel.It doesn't slip or act up on the road just when crawling along slow.Any thoughts?

 

drop the tranny pan if there is a wedge type of peice in the pan its your second gear my did the ame thing and i found out that the band for second broke so i would have that checked soon

 

mine did the same thing when i had the throttle cable slightly misadjusted, in the book it says +/- 1mm, so it needs to be prettty damn close...i'd try readjusting that first since you just changed it.

 

yup my tranny cable did break so probably i'll check that again and i'll drop the pan too.It needs a filter and fluid change any ways.Any one know a good place like jiffy lube that I can trust with my rig?
