Interior lights wont go out after car wash
Ok I would be tracking this problem down myself with a multimeter and a garden hose if I was home and not in iraq. Everytime my wife takes the truck through the car wash the interior lights come on and wont turn off till the truck has had plenty of time to dry out. Anybody ever had this problem before? Or is familiar enough with the interior light wiring to give a good guess as to where water from the outside would effect the wiring for the interior lights? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
Gotta be something to do with the pin switches in the door jams. They work off a ground, when you close the door they complete a curcuit and turn on the lights.you can unscrew them from door jam and check the wires for bad spots.Hope this helps.
