Ok, so you are going to feel kinda stupid for asking this question, but that's ok... LOL.

Divide 39 by 11. You get 3.545which is a 3.55 gear ratio. Super common ratio that's used by Dodge.

You are welcome, and have a great day!

Anyone ? will this be a dramatic change ? I thought i was getting the same rear end as mine but after taking the gears out and asking on here they are different, so if its not going to matter much i will just use them.

There will be little difference. You will see better acceleration / torque, and a hair less top speed. The higher the ratio number, the greater the torque to the rear wheels. You may see a slight decline in fuel economy also, although it won't be much. Good luck with your swap if that's what you decide to do. Make sure you set the gear backlash and bearing preloads correctly when you change diffs. It's not just pull one out and throw the other in. Whenever changing out differential gears, there's a little setup that's needed to be done to preventcatastrophic differential destruction. Andy

actually its not a bad thing. you can then put on bigger tires and not lose pulling power (torque).
