Default air bag light

To make a long story very short. I did some work on my truck and the airbags were removed (with the battery disconnected). I had to drive the truck with the airbags removed..... I noticed the airbag light was on. Duh, no air bag. Right?

I finished the job and reinstalled the airbags, hooked the battery back up and ever since my light is on. Pulling the battery and reseting the PCM (neg cable off- ign switch to start for 20 sec) doesn't work. Is there any way to fix the stupid light without a trip to the dealership?

You may have missed a plug in somewhere. Double check all your connections before a dealer reaming. Did you have them both out? If so check the connection behind the glove box too.
