will a stock 5.9 be able to handle a 53mm tb? Reason I ask I found yet another ebay auction for both 50 and 53 mm tbpriced at $139 before core charges and shipping. And would removing the air horns really help alot? Thanks for the info guys.

 

52s are the ones that are usuially used on non modded or lightly modded 5.9s, but its really about a 51.80, a 53 may be a bit much without mods, but it shouldnt be a big big problem. I think a 55 would though.

 

beware of this ebay auction my neighboe bought one and it is junk the shaft is not narrowed it is a streight bore no rounding off and the valves do not even come close to sealing the boor on the 50mm measured 51mm top and 54mm bottom waist of cash!
