Im sorry to ask such beginner questions but i really just need to get the feel for this truck and what it should and shouldnt be doing. I have a 1997 1500 5.9 4x4 with 152 thousand on it and i just wanted to know if i should expect or should it be able to burnout in 2wd? Thanks for ur responses in advance.

It seems it depends on the truck AND the driver. Some owners can burn, chirp, squeel, etc. with a 4wd truck in both the 360 and the 318. However, my 318 won't chirp to save it's life. You may be able to do it, if you don't mind putting all that strain on the drivetrain and brakes.

Not to mention if you want to put the money into it when it breaks. If your going to beat on it, it will break, just a matter of time. But have fun doing it! [sm=gears.gif]
