Need tire info for 97 SS/T

I will be replacing tires on My SS/T, which has factory size tires on it at present, which are 275 60 R17. I currently have BF Goodrich Comp TA's on it now and was wondering what would be a good tire to go with, and also what would be the widest tire I could get without causing any concerns! Thanks Jason
