Installing a Borgeson steering shaft on a 01 1500 RAM. The directions say there has to be a notch machined into the piece that sticks out of the gear box if it does not have one. From what it looks like mine does not have a notch like that. I thought this thing was direct bolt in? Help me out here.

 

it is a replacement all u should have to do is line them up and shove them on there it wasnt to easy when i did it but went on
