Default Tranny double shifting?

I may be totally wrong here but it feels as if my newly rebuilt tranny is shifting twice between 30mph and 40mph. If im just slowly accelerating ill be at like 2300 rpm when i hit 30 it drops a few hundred rpm then goes back up to like 2300 soon as i hit 40 it drops to 1500 rpm. meanwhile my foot dosnt change pressure at all. Does this sound like a tranny issue? or something else with my truck? its a 2000 ram sport 1500 5.9ltr 4x4 These are the only speeds it does it at. does it up hill down hill level anywhere im driving

Mine did that also untill I adjusted both the bands to spec. Might be something else if you just got a rebuild though, unless they forgot to do it??

Any check engine light on? Mine has been doing this for the past week but wouldn't do it all the time. Finally the check engine light came on, P0702- Output Speed Sensor Malfuction. Replaced the sensor in less than 10 mins last night and drove over 225 miles today and not once did it act like it was double shifting. Good luck
