Default Rear Bumper Mount

Is the rear bumper mounting brackets and locations the same between a 1500 and a 2500? I have a 1500, if I took the bumper only from a 2500, will it bolt right up to my brackets on my 1500? - thanks

IF the frame is the same width, isn't the frame taller on the 2500?

I think you will be okay. The bumper should be the same, but the brackets would be different due to the differences in the 2500 vs. 1500 frames.

What's the difference in the frames? Is it wider or the holes are in different spots, etc?

The 2500 has a taller frame, but your 1500 brackets should bolt right up to the bumper as I don't think they are different. I think the bumper has multiple holes in it's bracket for both 1500 and 2500 brackets.
