leveling kit
Iwanted to get a 2 in. leveling kit for my truck (97 ram 1500) but i also wanted to put 1-2 in. blocks in the rearso that it wouldnt sit nose high. I was wondering if it was necessary to get new shocks. thanks for your advise
depends on what you do. if it's mainly on the street and some light duty offroading you don't need longer shocks for the front till you go to 3", so 2" should be fine....1.5 is the biggest lift you can go for the rear without needing new shocks. if you go 2" you'll need new shocks for the rear. but if your going to go rock crawling or trail riding that requires alot of articulation, i would recommend getting new shocks...
ok thanks.
well i drive mostly on the street except for the occational mudding trip with friends and im also a big hunter and some of the paces where we hunt can get pretty messy so im thinkin that if im gonna do it i might as well go ahead and do it right the first time but thanks again for the advice.
