I have a 1997 DODGE RAM 1500 SPORT 5.9L. When you start the truck up with A/C on, it doesn't work. After taking off and hitting 45mph and up the A/C comes on. When slowing down or stopping, the A/C stops working again. Also A/C will not work on MAX.
Does anyone know what do I need to fix it???!!!

 

you my freind have a vacumn leak.start off by doing a little reading on the topic here,this will help you target the problem.i had the same trouble and it turned out to be the vacumn reservoir.
