Default Buzzer Question..

Anyone know what wire/ fuse to pull to stop the buzzer noise if you have your door open w/ the key in the ignition? just curious :-)

pull out the door pin and cut the wire, i dunno if it will stop the dome light from comming on thow

just install a switch inline with the door pin. kinda like with the crown vic police cars but they have a mod you can do which puts it in "dark mode".

yah every year i do up about 30 trucks for the conservation officers here and they all get front and rear kills or "dark mode" its not hard to do on any vehicle just a matter of finding the right wire

the buzzer is molded right in to the ignition switch, so I would guess if you pull the ignition fuse the buzzer would stop. That only leaves the problem of starting your truck without the ignition

i just let it buzzed and felt around under there until i found the damn box and the snipped away


kinda wish i only cut the wire for the door buzzer though. i kinda liked it when i buzzed when i left the headlights on.

mine was tucked back behind the fuse panel . its alittle black box about 4 inches long and 2 inches high

you should be able to unplug that buzzer box that what i did on mine and everything else still works plus if you wanna sell your truck you can plug it back in for the next guy but maybe they changed it later on but thats what i did on my 94
