ok, I was checking my airfilter today and its got some life in it left, at the same time i figured why not check my PCV valve, but what turned out to happen was that I couldnt take it out. I try everythign, pulling twisting, even plyers, didn't come out. Any suggestions?

If your pulling on the driver side valve cover, thats not it. Its on the passenger side.
