yeah i have seen those, but they seem like it would put undue strain on your head/tail lights by making them flash on and off, they are not designed to flash ya know.

Hell, most of the time these ******** in Ohio don't even see the orange and yellow vest I wear, and at night, forget about it, I'd have better luck standing in the middle of the street.

I think I am going to take these things back, they are small and dont think they will flash bright enough.

Thanks for all the input, I'm going to follow THEGOLDPROs advice and do it right the first time.

Thanks

i install all kinds of emergency lighting

if you want your high beam to flash that is called wig-wags but i dont think thats what you want (they are hard on headlghts too since it is your highbeam flashing)

what you want i belive is calles corner strobes, a seprate strobe bulb driled into the lignt if you want the best go with whelen http://www.whelen.com/ they are 2nd to none code 3 are alright too

these bulbs will be drilled into the headlight asembley and (if you choose the tailights too) put them in somewhere with a clear lenes for best visability (front headlight assy, rear b/u lights assy) once the bulbs are instales they will need to be run to a strobe power susply these lights run on high voltage and the power susply converst 12v to usable voltage for the bulbs the strob susply dosent take much power and is simple to hook up all it needs is power (through switch to turn them on and off) and ground and the more "delux" modles have an extra wire that you can momentarley apply power to to set the flash pattern.

also you might wanna check the laws in your area i know here you need a permit to do this legely

any questions just ask i have wirred countles emergency vehicles and dont mind helping a guy out ither

edit

i looked up some stuff
here is a pic of a power susply (this will 2 bulbs so if you want to do front and rear you will need to)
http://www.whelen.com/images/Power_Supplies/cs220.png
the short plug with red, black and white wires is the conrol plug
red-power (switched)
black-ground
white-flash pattern setting
the other 2 plugs connect to the bulbs

here is a pic of what the bulb looks like

Thx a lot for the offer! I'm sure I will need some help installing them once I get them. I will get back to you when that happens.

I dont know about the laws here, but I'll take a chance. I'd rather pay $100 (or whatever) than be hit or killed by some jerk not watching where he/she is going.
