Default Some jeep 5.9 magnum cranks not drilled for pilot bushings?

I just found the correct forum so I'm reposting this from the main Ram page.

Hi Folks, new member here.

Main question:
Ive heard that not all magnum cranks are drilled for pilot bushings. Is this true?
I know of one (and only one!) person who did this swap on a 98 5.9 GC LTD and his crank waspilot bushing ready from the factory.

I have a 98 Jeep Grand Cherokee 5.9 LTD. Planning on doing a "budget" 5spd swap with a Dodge Ram NV 5 speed.
Going for street performance use as opposed to off road use.

If it's true that some are/some aren't, is there any way to tell by engine S/N or anything? If mine is not drilled that's obviously a show stopper and I don't want to have to pull the trans just to find out the whole project is a no-go.

I have a few other questions about PCM flashing and NV trans applications that I'll post later.

Thanks for any help - John
