46re Rebuild - No Neutral
I just "completed" the rebuild on a 46re transmission that came out of my 2000 Dodge Ram 1500 (5.9L/ gas/ RWD); upon garage testing (i.e. rear-end jacked up) I noticed forward rotation while in neutral (tire rotation increased proportional to engine rpm)...........anyone got any ideas why?
This is my first rebuild so I appreciate any assistance; I am hesitant to road test the vehicle until I have this addressed.......if this is due to cross flow in the valve body, then I assume it will affect other gears.....I want to avoid damaing any of the hard parts unnecessarily.
Thanks in advance,

--------Additional background that may help, for those interested-----------
1. Preceeding transmission failure was due to de-gloving of the front band's friction material....not sure why, but no signs of mechanical/ heat damage to other soft parts or hard parts (........well other than other than front drum).
2. Installed a stock ALTO Master kit in the barrel and OD section, with new clutches, steels and compliance upgrades. Used SMR recommended lube (Molly Slip) on every metal-to-metal and metal-to-clutch surface. Installed new TC (#591) pre-filled with ATF+4 prior to installation.
3. Installed an SMRtrans shift kit (details can be found at a website of the same name). Seemed simliar to Transgo shift kit as far as upgraded springs and lube-pressure drills.....the main difference I guess is the design of the manual valve and inclusion of a new shuttle valve assembly to eliminate manipulation of the electrical system to counteract the increased line pressure.
4. Removed in-line check ball, and flushed cooler lines in both directions with 2 bottles of Transflush Cooler Cleaner.
