Default clogged cat?

I think my cat might be clogged at low rpms it sounds like there is something in there rattling around. It doesnt do it all the time just everyonce in awhile. My question is I thought I read something about a recall for the cats on these trucks. Not too sure. Does anyone know anything about that? I am going to check it tomorrow to see if there is a bunch of garbage in there.

i had the same exact problem about 2 weeks ago. i installed a high flow cat, and the noise is gone. the element was loose, causing it to rattle at low rpm/idle, and only every so often.

There are several threads on the forum that address this issue. there is a dodge warrantee on the Cat for i think 60,000 and it doesnt matter if you are the first owner or not.. might be worth searching around a bit. you might just get one for free.. Hope this helps..
