What the hell? I have never seen that....something like that would pretty much have to be from an over-rev or just a strange failure of the piston. Wierd
that seems to be a reoccuring statement with everyone that hears the story.. just my luck.. it was def something in the engine cause theres thread marks and theres no way it could of over reved cause i never touched the gas pedal when i started it.. it was the piston hitting the bolt at idle speeds over and over again that did it
Did you rip it down any further? Take the crank out and see what it looks like. I wonder if the bearing fell apart and gave it a little bit of extra travel to go up or something?
