are all leveling kits pretty much the same? like it doesnt really make a difference what brand or how expensive or does it? and would i have to get shocks that are for a 2" lift up front?

pretty much...most are just coil spacers. it depends on if you want polymer plastic (daystar)or metal like topgun customz. no you won't need new shocks with only a 2" lift

if you do the leveling kit the front of the truck will be higher than the rear.. the leveling kit ismore for the diesels because the engine weighs so much. If i were you id just throw on a 2 1'2 lift kit it looks awsome and lets you clear 33"s with no problem... or do the spacers and a AAL in the rear
