In this link http://www.carcomplaints.com/Dodge/R.../recalls.shtml, I noticed a good bit that applies to my truck but wonder why I was never notified. I bought my truck brand spankin' new but I don't ever recall bringing it in and having it serviced for recalls.

Any of you got yours serviced for recalls?

 

they wont contact you unless its a majour safty issue and most delerships dont like doing recall work (because they done make much off of it) so they dont always tell you about it and if you dont take the truck to the dealer often then ou wont know ither also some recals only apply to spefic vin numbers, there is somewhere here (in the tsb section on the main page?) you can put in your vin and it will tell you what recalls apply to that vin and id they have been fixed, i have a 98 as well and none of the recals affected my particuler truck

 

Yes on some no on others it all depends on the vin number. You can take yours to the dealer and they can tell you what ones you need. Alot of mine were interior stuff and I am still waiting on the catalitic converters.
