torsion bars

Default torsion bars

Has any one turned up there torsion bars?and how easy is it and how do you do it, and hows the ride after you turned them up.

our 2nd gen dodge rams don't have torsion bars....but if your talking about a 3rd gen 1500....it stiffens up the ride alot...ruins the alignment...and it also puts extra stress on your torsion bars...if you get an alignment after you crank them...you should be okay if you don't mind the stiffer ride...

yah bud what kinda truck are you talking about the 94-01 rams do not have torsion bars in them the newer 1500s (02+) so and thay cam be cranked up itll give you an extra 2-3 in in the front, a stiff as hell ride and your gonna have stuff ware out quicker, its easy to do, simpley put an impact on the adjusting bolt below the cam and start hammering aand yes you will need an alignment after too

im not sure if they went back to coil overs in the 1500s but the older 3rd gen 1500s had torsion bars

not really "back to coil overs" i mean coil overs were the shock and the spring are one, not a coil spring like what our 2nd gens have..
