Default round air filter?

So if i buy a round air 14x3 air filter like everyone suggest on my 2000 ram 1500 sport, what do i do with that vaccume line thats currently hooked up to my air box? just let it hang there? or should i buy a filter for that? or do i just stick with my k&n filter in the factory box and take that restrictive chunck of intake tube stuck into my fender?

I bought a filter for mine... got it at Advanced Auto for like 10 bucks.....when it gets dirty I plan on tossing it and buying a new one I hear you can get a washable one from summit racing but for 10 bucks its almost not worth the hassle of washing one out.

Some of these air cleaners actually come with a fitting and the bottom of the cleaner has a knock out in it for the tube. Or you can use a breather. Your choice. If the air cleaner you get does not come with the fitting, the parts places have them for a couple of bucks.
