Hey everyone, newbie here. Just picked up a nice '01 Ram 1500 with a 6" lift yesterday. This is my first dodge truck and I'm quite happy I got it.

Question- The guy I bought it from had a dog that chewed up the leather on top of the center consol.A replacement for JUST THE LID at thedealership will run me over 250 bones. Since that's obviously not happening, I searched around and came accross a whole consol off a 1998 Ram 1500. Mine's an '01, but the consol looks the same. Will it fit?

I think that console will fit. I want to say they were the same from 98-01.
