I've been down this road.
It's not impossible, but certainly not as easy as the directions would make you think (if you can figure the directions out). The kit that I bought for my '96 still needed relays and more wiring than the kit came with.After reading the directions, and getting online help, Igave up, returned it, and spent $200 to have the local auto stereo/alarm place put one in. Best $200 I ever spent. They had my truck for a half a day, and it works flawlessly. Keyless entry/remote start systems are definitely one of those things that's really easy if you've done a lot of them, bu pretty hard if you haven't.
