Default Couple of questions...

Is puttn' anew cam in a DIY job? I mean i have the manual that tells you how to replace everything (tear all the way down)thats stock in my truck. Do u think i will totally screw up my truck? Also to modify your own itake manifold do u just cut the runners 1.5" and smooth everything out? Also my buddy said theres an old hotrod thing where u paint the inside of the intake with high temp white paint. It supposed to do sumtn with heat or sumtn. U think it would hurt to try it?

it's black not white, black absorbs heat. Same thing with painting your block black as well. Also paint is smoother then rough metal, and anyway you can make the runners smoother in an efi setup, the better

I dont get it.... You dont want heat goin into ur intake manifold at all. or are you saying paint it black and it will absorb the heat the rushes in before it gets any further? So what about painting the outside white? Any suggestions? Also the other questions i posted too. THNX guys!!!
