Has anyone found one for the 9 1/4? I can't find much for protection back there.

I wasn't cheap. $150, but they will also match any price I find on it. So until it's ready to ship, I can try to find it cheaper and let them match it.

Sometimes I splurge on stuff if I really like it. That's comparable to most of the other strenthened diff covers though, maybe slightly more, but it has more features too (dipstick, drain plug, etc...).

The cheapest way to go is to get a diff guard that bolts over your cover.

The only thing with aluminun covers is that instead of bending like steel they break. take a BFH and hit that mag tec cover and shell shatter, but mash the stock one and she will bend but not break. so for now im sticking with the stock one, cause i change the fluid yearly and it aint that big of a deal to not have a drain plug

wow that thing looks like an animal! I bet it looks good on your truck though. I think everything else will be destroyed before that cover!

It arrived some time ago, but just got around to installing it. Love the dipstick feature.

I was liking the purple cranium covers, but that one looks great.
