ok well my friend came to look at my truck and told me i should really fix my exhaust leak ( 2 studs broken on driverside exhaust manifold) he said that could cause a bad valve now is this true and how can it make a valve go bad?

 

if its just the 2 broken studs (did you try to remove them and brake them?) and the others are ok and tight, it wont mess up your valve. The only way it will mess up the valve is if its exposed (like running open headers for to long) But i would sayyou should be ok. However, if it were me i would get it fixed. that would just bother me. Just my 2 cents tho.

 

yea cause my friend told me that the exhaust leak could wear it out..and my mechanic told me those valves are getting stressed so i got new headers and stud kit on the way
