First 1/4mile run....
went up to the track here last night it was packed so i got to make first 1/4 mile runs i got 4 in..
best time on 28" slicks on myold 16" rimsno tail gate or spare, back seat and passenger seat pulled out
and 1/4 tank ofshellPremium 13.312 @ 102.6760ft was 1.96 airtemp was
around 78 deg. Track conditions were decent had a problem hooking up so had to feather the pedal to
get a good launchwith the new stall converter i think with some more runs my time can improve some
im really impressed with the motor it pulls and pulls right to the 6000 rpm rev limit its a beast...
I did 1 run with my new 20"s i just put onwith 285/50/20 general grabber uhp rubber and i could not get
any traction at all i just spun for a good 100 feet then i just let off and let the guybeat me.

Still have the hughes heads.....they are the super prepped 2.02's shaved .25" and fully gasket matched they flow as good or better than the heads from KRC i sent these of with the intake also to the local machine shop and they did there majic alsoon the heads they build mostly race motors and send chevy heads out lot to RCR to get reworked.....the only diff. in my setup from the lightning killer package is my heads, long tube headers (better) and my intake which i had reworked locally after i got it from hughes they rewoked the runners even more to make sure they were perfectly equal and flowed perfect putting it on there flow bench they also filled some in the area inside to bring down the volume like Hughes stage2 just not as much.....i think im still going to order the dual plane intake yet dont know what i will gain but worth a shot i could sell either intake depending on results i guess....

I'm still kicking around the idea of getting that Eddy manifold too. I may wait until Marty gets his and posts up some M-1 vs. Air gap dyno #'s though. Was it .25 or .025? I think the Hughes heads are the best bang for the buck if you're not going to run boost.

Congrats on the good runs and fast short times
Progressive 100 shot from 2nd gear would get you deep into the 12s [8D]
