1999 2500 V-10
Hello Everyone!
I am going to try to go to the stealership tomorrow and look at a 1999 2500 4x4 with the V-10 and 4-speed auto transmission. It has 100,000 miles and some change, and from what I can tell by looking at the outside and the inside of the cab, it was pretty well taken care of. The paint is not to scratched up and it has all the hook-ups in the bed for a camper so I would think it is safe to say a lot of the miles were all highway. It has brand new B/F Mud Terrain tires and a new spray in bed liner.
1. Besides the death wobble what else should I look for while driving the pickup?
2. With 100,000 miles on this, how much more life should I expect out of the engine?
3. Same question as above but how much should I expect on the transmission?
Any other info you on these would be appreciated. Thanks, Jeff

mostly the usual stuff. Steering play, driving straight. braking performance without any brake pulsation or grinding noises, ect. make sure all your accesories work, like headlights, foglights, windows, ect. If you going to pay for the stuff, you should make sure it works right?
