NO BUS

Default NO BUS

1999 Dodge ram 1500 just installed new engine. cel stayed on no speed sensor [] replaced sensor test drove. ligt still on. connected odb2 cleared codes. now will not start, NO BUS showing on odometer[:@] HELP

check for several grounds that should attach to the power steering bracket. also check all fuses no matter how irrelevent they may seem (power locks, etc), because its all interconnected. unplug/replug pcm. check main engine/inline fuse in power block next to battery. look for any other grounds not tight or left off.

Did as you said still no bus installed ecm with same part # from a friends truck same problem. installed my ecu into his truck and ran fine

i just used a hypertech programmer on my truck and when it was installng it said no bus so it is your computer get a programmer it is about the same price as a computer for your truck
