If you have a Hypertech and had the death flash, post what hypertech program version your's is like, 06.08.13, it's on the label on the box. I found a cheap PP, but hypertech says it may or may not work with my death flash, so I need to see which one's (versions) work with the death flash.

 

Mine says 6.17.25. I guess that is the version numberyou mean. It worked really well on my truck as far as curing the death flash goes. The only side effect was a ping that I developed when I installed the program, but some cooler plugs cured thatright up.

06.08.13 is what i have and the death flash works great but i am selling mine already due to more aftermarket parts

i couldnt even spin the tires before but now i can light them up all day

The last firmware was 6.17.27 and there were maybe 27 different firmwares.

 

mine says 06.16.22
it works pretty good, gave it a little more get up and go
it also exposed my leaking plenum, and it pinged like crazy on 87 gas, with hypertech program set for 87.
3923 plugs didn't help.
had to run 93 octane until i got around to fixing plenum.
now it doesn't ping anymore.

but then for some reason about the model of abs brake controller on my truck, it wouldn't allow me to correct speedo
