Do You Guys Drive Your Ram Everyday?
I definitely love driving mine. It's the only big Yellow truck in the town that I live in, so it turns lots of heads. I've always loved the yellow Dodges and I'm proud that I finally have one. I try and drive it as much as possible within my budget.
Pretty much everyday, cept when the tranny was broken. I have beenknown to drive the GF's ranger on occasion though. 25 mpg is hard to turn down.
i drovee mine everyydayy....thenn one day i decidedd to drive my momss old blazerr and was messing around sumwhere where i shouldntt of been and rolled itt....soo i stickk mainly to 96 ram now...
I'm just a loser and I drive mine everyday too. I have had my license back for just 5 days and I already drove 675 miles. And I use 93 octane always. I think that number is just so high because I was just so excited to drive once I got my license back from a 90 day suspension. But generally speaking though, I drive a lot, because when I'm bored, I'll drive, because it's my passion, so on average, I put about 300-350 miles on my vehicle a week using 93 octane, and synthetic oil. Doesn't help driving is my passion lol
Friggen speeding in that stupid neon lol! But I got the big old dodge now, and other than chicks its all i thnk about. Having the exhaust system put in this monday, cant wait, goin to look AMAZING and fricken bark haha
I only use mine on the weekends. I have a company truck for my daily driving during the week and with gas prices the way they are, I usually manage to do 95% of my normal errands with the company vehicle also.
Daily, brought my dauther home from the hospital in it, always takes my family were we are goin, my 2 yr old son ALWAYS wants to go in daddys truck. A couple times I was takin the family out and tryed to load em up in the Jeep, (03Liberty Renagade) my son throws a fit. Hes says go in daddy truck, go in daddys truck, me want go in daddys truck, and let me tell ya thats 1 thing that I will give into him on anyday........

???I was just wondering. I only drive mine mainly on the weekends for around 100 miles or so. I'm going to try and drive it a little more, but I have a 90 mile round trip to school and work every day, and my ol' T-Bird gets better gas mileage. Being in college and working part time doesn't exactly leave a whole lot for extra gas money. Is there anything that I should keep a check on to make sure everything stays running good? Is it bad for a vehicle to sit for most of the week?

I drive my truck everyday ~10 miles. I'm actually thrilled with my fuel milage. My old 84 Suburban only got about 8 or 9 mpg, so the 11-12 I get now is awesome. I'm up here in Michigan. Drove 160 miles on 3/8 of a tank for the last two weeks and filled up from 5/8 of a tank for $42. Couldn't be happier. I do ride my motorcycle to work occasionally, but it's hard to carry anything. The truck is great to hop in and throw anything I want in it and go anywhere.
People have told me to get a little car, but after gas, insurance, maintanence and other expenses, my truck would still be way cheaper just driving it alone. Plus, the saftey and functionality of a truck is worth it. I wouldn't know what to do with a little car. I've NEVER driven with 4 people. 99% of the time it's just me driving around carrying stuff. Also, when I park next to a little car and see my bumper at head height on the little car, it makes me glad that I drive the truck. Sure these cars are coming with 7+ airbags these days, but a bag of air against a steel frame is no match.
