Default performance mods

i have a 2001 ram 5.2l. as of now i have flowmaster 40 series (I believe)wit dual outlets. a hypertech tuner ( the one that plugs inline with the computer and is preprogrammed). thats all my mods. what else could i do that would be cheap and something that i could do myself? i am leaning towards athe old school pan type air filter and removing the huge stock air intake. how much would a low temp thermostat help? any other suggestions?

the old school fitler, from what everyone is saying, is the way to go. I just got a volant CAI and love it. I know, can remember which topic, that someone is selling a k&n for 175 shipped. thats a good deal. And changing the t-stat to a 180 would be a good idea also. I belive you are supposed to run a 180 t-stat w/ the hypertech.
