How do you feel about the 360?
Ive been lookin for a truck and most of the dodges I can find out there are 360's my family warns me to stay away from these on an almost daily basis. they say youll get 6mpg no matter what. But ive been lookin at a 98 standard cab sport 4x4 really nice lookin truck but... 360?? lol let me know what ya'll think.

i have a 2500 with a 360 and to be honest the gas mileage aint that great at all. it wont be as bad in a 1500 i dont think. other than the gas mileage i love the motor. Strong, big and loud.

I have a 360 with 238,000 miles on it, I love the darn thing. I get 13-15mpg on my 1500 4x4, depends on how I drive and what I have in the bed.
The motor has plenty of power, even with some miles on it. I tow a 4,000 - 9,000 pound boats and the lighter ones I forget I have behind me sometimes.

i have a 360 and i average 13.5mpg. when im towing (a car trailer mostly) i get about 12. if a 360's getting 6mpg somethings wrong. My trucks an 01' reg cab, w/ a 360 and 4:10 gears. I always have my foot in it.

I would say I get 12 to 15mpg out of my 360. The only draw back to the engine is the plentum gasket butI belevethere are betterreplacement gasketsout now.

they had a bad experience i believe with a 2500 that seemed to be build out of other 2500s lol hell may have even been a chevy thrown in there somewhere. pretty truck but the internals were... multi-cultural but im serious they got 6mpg outa that thing, even with conservative driving.
