new here need some help
i have a 1995 ram 1500 i live in pa i was working out of town in nj when i got a flat tire i put on my spare it was a 275 60 r 16 on the other side i was running a 275 75 r16 i drove it all the way home like 300 miles now there is a wining noise coming from the rear end can anyone tell me if i should be concerned i have to go back out to nj on monday i have replaced the tires but the noise is still there please help if you can

Whining is usually a bearing, it could be non related. Or you did screw something up really good. I really don't know what if could be other then the limited slip unit which isn't critical.
Thats a big no no, never do that again on the driving axle. If it happens you need to swap one from the front onto the rear so it has the same size tires. You can then drive slow home even though it might pull one direction since you have different size tires on there. Diffrent size tires on the driving axle = bad

yes like said above always keep your drive wheels the same size the front can have diffrent size for a bit (as long as you dont use 4X4) you may have torn apart something in your LSD, shouldent hurt anything driving it now, you may wanna pull off the diff cover to see if there are any bigger pieces in there and to change the fluid but like socha said whining is usally a barring grinding is floating parts so the sould may just be a concidance (wow i really cant spell hehe)
