Painted my calipers

Painted my calipers
Well, I was bored yesterday, so I painted my calipers. I used the Duplicolor brush on kit, did about 5 coats. I think the red looks good with everything else that is red upfront (incuding my new diff cover that is on it's way). I also have a silver "Mopar" caliper sticker that should be arriving any day too. Anyway, as you can see, I have too much time on my hands.

RE: Painted my calipers
Ya, I considered that, but I always liked how it looked regardless. Around here, it seems like the ricers are into doing other colors, like blue, yellow, and even airbrushed crazy stuff. Red is kinda the standard though, and I think it goes well with my other red stuff.. It was a cheap mod (kit costs about $18, and about 3 hours of my time).

For the rear drums I went with the black 'hammered' finish spray from Home Depot. Rustoleum I believe it was. Was surprised how well it held up to heat. Unless of course my rear adjusters aren't working and there is no heat! haha
