Default 1974 Dodge

SO... My boyfriend just bought a 1974 Dodge D200 pickup.. pretty interesting. He only paid $500 bucks for it and it runs and everything. All it needs is a carb. kit, new master cylinder, a battery, and new tires. It'll look pretty sweet once we get the paint re-done too. I'm excited! I'll have to post pics I guess...

Anyone out there have an older model Dodge???

All of the older model Dodge truck ownersare on the Dodoe Ram1st Genpage. I'm sure there are a few here that have upgraded and are here as well, but the good info pertainingto that model will probably be found there.

It's not frequented as often as this forum, but people still stop by every once in a while.

If you really need to know something, try to find HankL, thatguy's a freaking humanindex of Dodge knowledge.

Is it a heavy duty D200? Some of those have Dana 60s up front. The good kind, king pin, non-unit bearing. They're worth over $500 alone.

Yeah, it's a heavy duty one. And the guy we bought it from said the rear end alone was also worth $300... so I think it's a pretty good deal!
