A friend is selling me a 1995 Dodge fam 2500 with the 8.0 V10. It has not run since huricane Rita hit. It stalled on him while he was trying to evacuate. He sed he filled up drove about 15 miles and then it would starte to fail around 3,000 RPM. It hasent been run since (about two years). I am think that I need to drop the tank and put a new pump on it and get rid of the two year old gas as well. I am thinking that I should also do the filter and fuel pressure regulator as well. Does this sound about right ? I was also told by the dealer that I would need to get a new wireing harness for the pump as well. I am getting this truck for $500.00 , It runs pretty good until you get to about 3,000 Rpm. Any idea,s on ware I should look besides the fuel pump assembly ? Thanks in advance for any info.
